The Top 3 Things We Learned from Original Shark, Kevin Harrington that changed our lives and will change yours too..

We received a call a few months ago asking us to design a Interview Set for Kevin Harrington’s, Business Icons.

He was going to be in Pittsburgh to interview successful entrepreneurs and business owners from all over the country, including our Co-Founders, Dana and Anni. 🙂

If you are wondering who Kevin Harrington is, here is a small snippet of his bio:

An original “shark” on the hit TV show Shark Tank, the creator of the infomercial, pioneer of

the As Seen on TV brand, and co-founding board member of the Entrepreneur’s

Organization—Kevin Harrington has pushed past all the questions and excuses to repeatedly

enjoy 100X success. His legendary work behind-the- scenes of business ventures has

produced well over $5 billion in global sales, the launch of more than 500 products, and the

making dozens of millionaires. Twenty of his companies have each topped $100 million in

revenue.

We loved designing a modern inspired look that we knew would fit Kevin and his show perfectly!

Wwanted to share with you the lessons we learned during a private teaching and mastermind session with Kevin. Amazing business (and life) lessons!

Here are:

The Top 3 Things We Learned from Kevin Harrington That Changed Our Lives and Will Change Yours Too…

Lesson 1: You have to persevere over a long period of time if you want to be successful

When Kevin got the call to be on Shark Tank, he was well into his career.

It’s easy to get let down in business and feel like your “big break” will never be here.

But those big breaks never happen overnight and always come with incredible dedication and hard work to see your dream come to fruition.

Lesson 2: You will always fail more than you succeed….and that’s a good thing!

Kevin told countless stories a great wins and lots of great losses. He reminded us that failing on

a regular basis is actually the greatest thing you can do; it teaches you the most about life, your

business and yourself and it helps you become a better person in the process.

Lesson 3: You can be a “shark” in business and still be nice.

Being great in business doesn’t mean you have to step on everyone else to do it. The reality is,

the best way to be a shark in the business world is to actually help everyone else get to where

they need to go first and then you will find your path as well.

Zig Ziglar famously said, “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.”

Our friend Leeza Gibbons even told us that the only way that she won on the Apprentice against Geraldo Rivera, was by being the kindest person on the show. It pays to be kind!
