Happy Halloween, Old Souls!
‘Tis the season for creeping it real when it comes to party decor… Every year we see amazing spooky themed decor and DIY’s circulating through our Pinterest boards.
You know what we’re talking about: The traditional theme of skulls, fake blood, eyeballs in the punch, etc. While we’re all for the faux freaky aspects of a traditional Halloween party, we love seeing a non-traditional take on just about anything really come to life!
We’re challenging you to take a page from our party planning book and provide your event goers with some fresh (and yes, still a little freaky!) inspiration for your Halloween bash!
We’re standing up for all the scaredy cats out there with inspiration for a Halloween party that provides your guests with more treats than tricks.
These not-so-spooky setups are perfect for any fall gathering while still keeping the spirit of Halloween alive in other aspects like candelabras, goblets, and our spattering of homage to traditional Halloween colors.
Brought together by Dawn Derbyshire Photography, who took all of these gorgeous pictures, and styled by Jessica Garda Events, this set up is a fall Halloween dream.
We love the contrast between light and dark fall colors (purple, burgundy, mustard…) mixed with warm wood table seating and mismatched glass goblets.
Our most recent event, sponsored by Yelp, featured a modern lounge with a twist for the Ghostly Gallery at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. This event was a perfect opportunity to showcase how easily a small twist can add to your events atmosphere while maintaining the Halloween theme!
The crowd favorite, our emerald green velvet club chair, tied in the more traditional Halloween colors with our modern black couch and marble accent table.
These colors and textures coupled with our marble coffee table provided the right ambiance for an elegant affair to remember, sans the ghosts and ghouls.
